Lord Baltimore another opportunity of showing his high quality In todays running of the race Lord Baltimore met some of the best twoyearolds here amcnp them Second Thoughts and the McLean crack Dream of Allah Lord Baltimore was liddcn by Bice and setting his opponents a dazzling pace from the start held sway throughout and beat Second Thoughts by a length in a driving finish The winner lan the four and a half furlongs in 53 u neu track record for the distance The previous record was made by Calgary back in 1012 Dream of Allah finished third after a rough race Directly after the start the daughter of Colin was slfarplyr7cnt off and BntWeH was forced to pull up The filly lost four or five lengths by the interference but at the end she was going fastest of all and gaining on the leaders
