JIGGERS THIRD VICTORY I U Registers Another Success at Akron — Accident Mars Second Race. AKRON, Ohio. May 4.- H. C. Parkes Jig-ger scored his third victory of the present meeting when he captured the fourth race, which attracted the most select field at Northampton Park this afternoon. After saving ground while rounding the first turn. Jiggtr assumed an easy lead, which he increased during the stretch run. eventually winning with much to spare. Bally came from the rear in the stretch to beat Menage as easily for the place. Deadfall showed a dull effort and was badly beaten off. Most favorable conditions prevailed and a crowd of usual midweek day proportions was in attendance despite the handicap of limited transportation facilities. Joe Tag accounted for the first race. He opened up an easy lead la the first eighth and was never in serious trouble. Finishing with a rush on the inside during the last sixteenth. Black Air beat Incle Abe home for the place. The Dacre Stables Charlette. graduated from the ranks of maidens on her second asking when she showed the way practically throughout in the second race. In the final stride Cuban Flag was up to beat Snuffy for second place. An accident marred the running of this race. As the field was rounding the stretch turn. Bullfornia. racing in close quarters, stumbled and fell with jockey O. Mazoue. rolling over the rider. The boy was removed to the Peoples Hospital, having suffered a fractured collar bone. His skull cap proba-1I save his life, as it was found to be badly broken. Bullfornia sustained a broken neck and ditd almost instantly. Kreemason appeared to have the third race at fell mercy when entering the stretch with a commanding lead. In the closing stages Lugs finished with a brilliant rush next the inner rail and was awarded the decision by the closest of margins. Ossalccn. nainins steadily, outstayed Beg Pardon for third place. Sectetarv saved ground during the run home, which enabled him to garner the short end of the purse from Donna Santa. The horses in the stable of .1. J. Hedder-man trained by L, Meripole were shipped today to Aurora.
