Orleans-owned Keep Moving, ridden by Eldon Coffman, and Theodore D. Buhls Detroit - owned Bullet Cee, handled by Chuck Headley, were installed favorites in the first and second races here today and both made good in game style. The surprisingly-large Monday gathering of over 9,000 spectators sent Keep Moving to the post at 11 to 10 choice in the six-furlongs opener while Bullet Cee was 13 to 10 to beat his seven rivals in the mile and one -sixteenth second event; The Daily Doly pay-off on the victorious duo was but 3.40. Keep Moving, a forward factor from the start of the initial offering, moved to the front entering the stretch and, responding readily to Coffmans brisk handling, beat out Willard L. Proctors hard-charging The Farmer of a half length margin. Third honors in the sprint went to Mrs. H. Allen Campbells Blabber Mouth, who turned back the five other starters for that portion of the purse. Mrs. Harry W. Takes Over in Last Sixteenth Bullet Cee, far back during the earlier furlongs of the second, moved up fast approaching the stretch turn and, closing with a fine, burst of speed, wore down the leaders during the last sixteenth mile. The Buhl gelding held a neck advantage at the wire over Mrs. A. J. Lombardis Sticktome while G. and G. Stables Santa Claus, pacemaker for the greater part "of the trip, wound up third a length -off the lapped leaders. A. and Craigs Ross Bill saved fourth money. Bullet Cees running time was 1:48. C. Grissoms Bull Man was the third straight public choice to earn brackets this delightful afternoon, stepping to a two and one-half lengths verdict in the mile and a sixteenth third race under a steady ride from young Sherman Armstrong. Bull Man was sent to the front soon after the start of the middle distance test and he wasnt under strong pressure during the late stages to beat Mrs. D. Sukundos Squidge, second, by eight lengths over Ivan D. Peats Vinita War. Only seven platers met in the race, Mrs. Norman Hernandez Moston salvaging fourth money.
