Sees Errard King Register ATLANTIC CITY, Mays Landing, N. J., Aug. 21. Joe Gavegnano, Winthrop, Mass. owner, made a hurried air trip here Thursday to see his Errard King win the Jockeys Guild Purse and returned to New England following the event. The son of Errard and Darby Dover, a ,600 yearling buy, already has earned 5,550 this year and is one of the early choices for the 5,000 added Longport Handicap, three-quarter mile fixture for juveniles to be run here September 2.
