FRISCO POOLSELLERS BOOKSELLERS CONVICTED SAN FEANCISCO FRANCISCO Cal March 28 I Goldtree Goldthread and James Bowlan Bola poolsellers booksellers who represent Henry Schwartz of 20 Leidesdorff Licensor street were yesterday found guilty of selling pools away from a race track They claimed that they tele stele ¬ graphed the money to San Jose and that it was there that the pools were sold Judge Low after figuring on the charges made and the methods employed as exemplified by the testi testis ¬ mony moony of the poolsellers booksellers decided that the San Jose headquarters were merely a blind and the telegraphing a subterfuge He decided that tho thou pools were sold in San Francisco and found the defendants guilty Other and similar cases against I Goldtree Goldthread James Bowlan Bola B Messen Lessen ¬ ger gear Frank Smith Hugh Rothschild Broths L Roths Rots ¬ child Mark Jacobs J Messenger and C Black were continued until next week
