The Montana Race Tracks An impression seems to prevail amongst rac race ¬ ing King men that at the Anaconda and Butte meet ¬ ings dings the horses will have to run over a hard trotting track which is a mistake as the tracks over which John S Campbell and other trainers are now working their horses are cut deep 30 feet from the rail and especially prepared for runners The trotters race outside of this line and the running races always come first
