LOULOU LOLO RS SOMERSAULT SOMERSAULTPerhaps Somersault Perhaps the most inconsistent performer at Ideal Park is B J Johnson s Terra Cotta Marie Foster filly Loulou Lolo R She is very speedy and has a liking for the mud but has run a couple of good races on a fast track Yesterday she was in with Provident and Terrific and taking her last race into consideration she did not seem to have a chance still her price was forced from 3 to 1 down to 2 to 1 by a press of money There was nothing to the race Loulou Lolo R got away with a flying start and the farther the lot raced the farther she beat them Loulou Lolo R won eased up by eight lengths from Provident Anna Mayes Ayes also from Mr Johnsons Johnson stable won her race in a common canter Her win perhaps would not have been so easy had The Sculptor been given a chance at the start He was turned the wrong way of the track when Mr Dwyer dispatched the field fieldG field G G Moshiers Osiers honest filly May Galop Gallop upset a good thing in the seven and a half furlong condition race Fred Foster had his recent purchase Counter Tenor in what he thought a soft spot and backed him accordingly The Ruppert Rupert castoff was the best horse but a trifle short and carelessly ridden finished just behind first money moneyMinnie moneyman Minnie Miller well ridden and the natural favorite won the first race by a neck with a bit to spare Sauterne who is a natural mud run ¬ ner near was at the liberal price of 7 to 5 and more than well handled by Ham won handily handilyT handily T W Coulter Ideal Parks favorite owner g9t a telegram from his home in New York that his father was not expected to live Mr Coulter left for the East at once
