the performance was good Sam Lazarus Esq showed some speed Calchas Caliches and Numa Neumann both ran badly Vim and Vinegar is an insane actor He would not join the other horses at the post and in a mix up with the assistant starter he threw the latter flat on his back in the mud It was so deep that he was almost drowned Phidiasi Ophidians Capsicum drownedCapsicum drowned place 2 to 1 show even Prince Dudley place 8 to 5 show 4 to 5 Phidias Ophidians show 4 to 1
