rough journey but finished game and true McDonald made too much use of Good Hope early She broke back of the bunch and had a lot of ground to make up which the boy foolishly did the first eighth Martha Fox and Phidias Ophidians both ran good races Prince Harry and Flavius Lavish stopped together Both were off well on their stride and had no excuses excusesScratched excuses Scratched The Wooer more consistently now than formerly Plantain ran his usual honest race and outstayed Fervor at the end The latter is nowhere near as good as he was at Washington Park He appeared to be galloping on Holden Olden took no chances and hustled him all through the stretch Genna Henna ran a fair sort of a race but swerved some under punishment at the head of the stretch She was the only one that had a chance to beat Andes as the race was run Tulla Tulle Fonso Fonts hardly ran to the notch She struck herself in the race and pulled up bleeding a trifle from the cut Judge Tarvin Arvin was short on speed bat could not possibly have won with the ride ho got Gray wobbled all over him at the start and immedi dimmed ¬ ately lately went to the outside taking the long route It is possible though that Rutter Ruttier waited in behind the leaders the first threequarters treasurers and when ho made his run stole a march on the others The filly seemed the best and is rounding to nicely Sutton made up a lot of ground the last quarter He seemed to sulk the first part of the journey and taking this into consideration his race was good He was also ridden the long route Tranby Tabby saved time on the stretch turn and finished fast Inuendo Innuendo and Organ Pilot raced each other to pieces the first part of it and both tired badly Piuar Apiary del Rio likes a heavy track best So does Dr Marks did not seem to have a one two three chance down the back stretch Newcom Newcomer on Betulehf Beetle m Star made his run too soon and made up too much ground in a short distance This naturally made him stop when the pinch came Necedah Necked appeared to be winning on the turn for home but could not stand he pressure Judge Steadman Seaman was in the deep going and had bad luck all of the way
