MORE DERBY TRIALS. There was plenty of work at Washington Park yesterday, and Lieutenant Gibson did another sensational workout. Breaking from the half mile with a stable boy up, and carrying about 110 pounds, he ran the mile and a-half in 2:35S, the fractional time being 121 seconds, 25i, 371, 49i, 1:04. 1:17 J, 1:29, 1 :424, 1 :55l, 2 :09, 2 :224 and 2:35S. Garry Hermann, with Bullman up, ran with Gibson for the last half mile. Gibson pulled up strong, and without showing any signs of distress. Barrick worked James a mile and three-eighths in 2 :25 with Mitchell up, carrying 116 pounds. The colt broke at the three-quarter pole, the fractional time being 124 seconds, S, 371, 51, 1:04, 1:17, 1:31, 1:444, 1:571, 2:11, 2:25. Mitchell was pulling the colt up in the last eighth. Barrick was well satisfied with the work as the colt pulled up fresh and sound. Green Morris sent his pair a mile each. Silver Garter with Bullman up has the heart to work, and he did the fastest work of the morning. He covered the mile in l:421s, the fractions being 12and 24*5. 38 r,. *%, 1 :02, 1 :143s, 1 :28%, 1 :421.-,. Pupils time was 1 :45?0, the fractions being 13, 26, 39, 5025. 1 :03;V,- 1 :16, 1 :3C*s and 1 -Ab%. Yellow Tail moved three-quarters in 1 :17. Sidney Lucas had a slow gallop of two miles. He will work today. Advance Guard arrived from Harlem at 1 oclock, having taken since 7 oclock on the journey. In spite of the track being sticky and the rain falling he was sent a mile and an eighth about 3 oclock with 118 pounds. He covered the route in 2:042, the fractions being 294 seconds, 441, 59, 1:12, 1:24, 1:38, 1:514 and 2:04i.
