j j j j THOROUGHBREDS AT AUCTION. In spite of the fact that the attendance was large, the second days sale of the horses in training from the stable of J. B. Haggin turned out to be the poorest of the year. This was no surprise, however, as the twenty-four catalogued were all two-yoar-old fillies, and as a rule fillies do not sell well.
