Little Jack Horner beat the barrier, broke from tha outiide and Fuller kept him in the good going all the way. Lighthunt began slowly, but closed a big gap and finished very fast, caught Dr. Scharff tiring and got second place in the last stride. Dr. Scharff ran well, but was used up in chasing the leaders in the first half. Alpaca and Corbletts Bay quit when it came to a drive. Okla bolted to the outside at the turn -iato tha homestretch. Simoon was at home in the going, wore the leaders down while rounding tho far turn, took command without much effort and came away easily in tho stretch run. Ermack came wide at the turn into the homestretch and ou teamed Eliza Dillon when it came tc a drive. Tho latter was doing her bast at the end to stall off Macon. Battiste let go Macons head in the last furlong and he swerved all over the track. Maple could not extend himself in the going. Scratched 37814 Frank Jones, 96; 37065 Wissandine, 94. Kaloma was outrun in the first half, but saved ground at the turn into the homestretch, caught Mrs. Frank Fester at tha furlong post and outgamed her in the final drive. Mrs. Frank Foster was used too much in chasing Frank Rico and tired from it at the finish. Ailyar ran a good, game race, caught Pageant tiring and beat him out in the last stride. In the going-Amigari outclassed her field. 8ho was under restraint to the far turn, where she came up on the outside and challenged Tioga at the furlong post, shook her off when called on and drew away at the end. Tioga was at home in the going and ran to her best form. Buccleuth ran well to tho stretch, then tired as if short. Tom Kingsley quit when called on. He appears to have lost all form. Boundlee was at home in the going, went around tho leaders atthe far turn and came away without much effort in the stretch ron. Joe Lesser ran his race and was driving to the limit all of the last furlong in an effort to overtake Boundlee. Chickadee broke from the extreme outside and showed enrly speed, but tired when called on. Shut Up also showed speed, but quit when it came to a drive.
