Pyrrho was outrun for the first half, but wore the laaders dowa while rouudug the far turn, came first through the stretch and was going away at the finish. Frank M. had no mishaps and tired when it came to a hard drive. Limelight cut tho corner at the turn into the homestretch and ouigamed Censor and got third place in the last stride. Censor ran on the outside all the way and made up much ground. Prince Richard never appeared able to get settled in his strida. Carat ran well to the stretch. Petunia broke Tunning and displayed a high order of speed, raced Nettie E. and McGonigle to defeat in the first quarter arid came away in a canter at tho end. McGonigle saved ground at the turn into the homestretch, ran a good race and finished resolutely. Nettie E. is a quick beginner and showed muck spood, but made a wide stretch tnrn and tired in the last furlong. Salto and Arnold K. never got to going fast until the race was practically over. The Messenger ran a good race and hung on gamelj under pnnishmnnt. Adelante saved a lot of ground at the turn into the homestretch and managed to last long nnough to stall off Leuija. The Intter came very wide into the homeBtretch and Bridwell wa of but little assistance to her when the pinch came. Jessie Jarboe ran well to the stretch, where she quit badly.
