Royal, high in flesh, found his weight too much, but showed speed and hung on well at the end. Demurrer displayed far more gameness than usual and was a sharp contender all the way. Syrlin ran in a poor position throughout and could not get to the front. There was too much speed for Himself. Sun Shower was a shade outclassed. Captivator was pinched out at the start. Bruceville displayed speed and fought out the finish gamely after a long stretch drive. Mimon was short, but is speedy and the race should do her good. Mildred L. M. ran a good race and finished going fast. Evelyn Arnolds performance was an impressive one and she will do better. Dixie Paradise got off poorly. Equity was not persevered with.
