ID ALIA GETS A FLYING START. not Springs, Ark., March ::. Todays card at Oaklawn was devoid of a feature. The two-year-old race was the only one not of the selling variety. The racing, however, was interesting. The finishes in some of the races were decidedly close. Favorites were successful In four instances. Jockey J. Mclntyre had his first mount at the meeting on Idalla. lie beat the harrier by a margin which practically assured Idalias victory. Mike Sutton was given a peculiar ride. The judges had the owner and rider up to explain. They were dismissed with a warning. Considerable crowding occurred during the running of the fifth race. The judges decided that Ilelgesen on Loricate was the chief offender and lined him 5. Badtke was let off with a caution. After the fifth race Platoon was claimed by P. King for ,500. Jockey J. Kelly was among todays arrivals.
