NOTES OF THE TURF. Willie Burns, a younger brother of Tommy Burns and Guy Burns, has been granted a jockeys license. The Jockey Club has fined A. L. Darnaby 00 for taking the exercise boy Joe Cramer from S. McXaughton. s- Burglars rilled the residence of President Matt J. Winn of thfr American Turf Association in Louisville Wednesday night. - The courts at Louisville have decided that Will Woodards contract with Thornton Moore as to the training of Debar holds good. A dispatch from Los Angeles to the Cincinnati Enquirer says that Cella, Adler and Tilles are behind the Baldwin Racing Association. The stewards of the Jockey Club at their last meeting denied the application of Willie Martin, the former jockey, for a license to train. Joseph A. Murphy, who is at present officiating at Dallas, will Ik the judge and lmndicapper at Piui-Bco. A. B. Dade will do the starting. "Hold On Jimmy" has been tossed into the discard by Jake Iloltnian, for the Latonia meeting at least. Jake Beckley. the ball player, and John Uogan, of Chicago, will be the starters assistants.
