FIRST OF BROOMSTICKS GET. the firs; f,,;il by the Brighton Handicap winner Broomstick, arrived last week at E. C. Cow-dins Kit klevington farm in Kentucky. It is a bay filly oat of the good race mare Be Be Of Troy, owned by Harry Payne Whitney. Mr. Whitney lias two other noted broodmares ;,t Kirklevington Farm in Sallie of Navarre, the dam of Salvidere. and the superior race mare kfoaadoar. These three saarea Mr. Whitney secured at the sales at Lexington in NovcihIht tor a total outlay of 7,700. Sallie iff Navarre will foal this year a colt or filly by Broomstick. while Monadours produce this year will Ik- by Carry Heruiann.
