The latter is a gelding and the colored rubbers at the track call him "Smiths Salvidere." Jockey Swain is a recent arrival here. W. A. Smith fc Co. have first call on his servives during the spring meeting. Fasteru racegoers will not Bee Dainty Dame this season until after the running of the Oaks and Queen City Handicap at Latonia. No mare has been trained here iu years that has impressed horsemen as much as this daughter of Handspring Dutch Barbara, owned by J. S. Stoll and. Sou. was bred to Nasturtium a few clays ago at The Meadows. Her last start was in the Queen City Hanitici.i at Latonia last season, where she finished second to Sir Huou.
