DESIR WINS GERMAN DERBY. George Walker, the American trainer, has again; saddled the winner of the German Derby for Weinberg Brothers. Last year he won it with Fels, which was ridden by Winnie OConnor. Sunday he won it with Desir, ridden by Willie Shaw. Walker had expected to win with Fabula, hut in his cablegram from Hamburg he says Fabula broke down and he sent Desir out for the prize and. got it.
