FOUST LAW IS CONSTITUTIONAL. Memphis, Tenn., June 29. The Supreme Court of Tennessee, In session at Jackson, today decided that the anti-betting measure known as the Foust Law, passed at the last session of the legislature, is constitutional. It was shown that there was an error in the copy of the bill before; Judge Palmer when he recently decided the law unconstitutional. In the face of this decision it is not to be expected that there will be racing here this fall or next spring. There is. however, a feeling among the people who are interested in racing that at the next session of the legislature the restrictive measure will be wiped off the statute books.
