SEATTLE DERBY NEXT SATURDAY. Seattle, Wash., July 23: The Seattle Derby, which is to be the feature of the card at The Alead-ows next Saturday, is commanding the attention of local horsemen and race-goers just now. The Derby is at one mile and u quarter and has a guaranteed value of ,000. The probable starters aro Apple-gate and Cottons Woolma; H. C. Alders Alta Spa; II. G. Bedwells Judge Nelson; T. S. Childs Vox Populi; W. P. Fines Arcourt; 1. S. Fountains Senator Warner; Charles Gassera Lady Kitty; It. II. Harris Irish .Mail; II. W. Hoag and Co.s Grace O., W. P. Alagranes Aftermath or Alay Amelia; I. A. Iloss Alay L. N.; E. J. Bamseys Seven Bells; Alatt Keiss Aliss Officious and F. Wallhauser and Co.s F.dwin T. Fryer. Woolma will probably be the favorite. She is going good in her preparation for the race. A. Walsh, the stable jockey, will probably ride her. Grace G. and Alay L. N. are expected to be the contenders. Alay L. N. ran a corking good race a few days ago, beating F.ntre Nous for the place. She has been improving all along and looks to be one of the best in the field. Grace G. is tit. Edwin T. Fryer has run some good races and is getting better. Seven Bells is an in-and-outer. Senator Warner is a consistent performer and Irish Alail has hcii doing well lately.
