Linnepee was off forwardly and, after alternating with Yellowback and .Tobstown in the lead, finally drew out and won in a tight fit with Itizzy Izzy. The latter was badly outpaced early, but improved his position gradually in the last half and, finishing witli a surprising rush, barely failed to get up. .Tobstown came fast around the far turn and got into a temporary lead, but tired in the stretch struggle. AVilldo showed early speed, but failed to stay. Ksteban quit after a brief display of speed in the middle running. Bounding Elk ran to his best form, set a fast pace and only succumbed at the end of a game struggle under punishment. Emma G. finished fast and outstayed Hester Zorrafor third place.
