MANY HORSES FOR MONTREAL. The recently closed stake? of the Montreal Jockey Club tilled abundantly and with so many horses of good class included that it seems the racing at its coming meeting must exceed that of its successful inaugural meeting in merit and interest. Among the horses three years old and over nominated in different stakes are such capital performers as Go Between, Carthage, Kereheval, Bed Leaf, Pantouile, Still Alarm, George S. Davis, Pretension, Ormondes Bight, Kings Trophy, Edward Gum, Earl Rogers, Crackentborpe, Miniota, Ocean Spray, Court Martial, Colonel Jack, Prince Ahmed, Zip-ango, Ilolscher, Heidmooro, Sam Bernard, Sonoma Belle, Don Hamilton, St. Joseph, Gabriellc, Niblick, Heine, Temmeraire, Scarfell, Tickle, Wool-stone, Buttons, Halifax, Diamond, Anna May, Ben Strong, Marster, Elfull, Thistle Do, Confessor, Chippewa, Hoyal Biver, Trackless and Greeno. These are all rapid goers and good enough to furnish capital entertainment over any track. Among the useful two-year-olds are such as Kerry, Thomas Calhoun, Hans, Mcrrlmac, Chief Desmond, Aristotle, Joe Moser, Tom Shaw, Petulant, Tenancy by Courtesy, Spunky, Takbu, Bridge Whist, Manheimer, Apple Toddy, Balla, Detliorpe, Win. II. Lyon, Emma G., Bunning Account, Os-munda, Stanley Fay, Gaga, Oroha, Spunky, Servile and Gold Quartz.
