King Folly ran well in the going and was benefited by being saved from the exhaustive pacemaking tactics of the early leaders, finished fast and got up in the last two strides. Queens Souvenir ran a good race, but was excessively urged and her rider seemed to be caught napping at the end. James 15. Rrady was best and raced Marbles to defeat, but was cut off at a critical moment and could not get up afterwards in a game linish. Marbles showed superior syeed, but tired from strenuous racing with James 15. Rrady. Tee Tick went well. Bmiyah closed an immense gap from a poor start. Donnell also made up ground. Won easily; second and third the same. McKittredge pecked at several of the jumps, but outran the others on the flat, is a rare stayer and a coming star at jumping. Collgny ran a grand race, but could not concede the weight asked to the winner. Palm fenced well and mt up a good race for two miles, then tired badly. Jim Gaffr.ey, luckily and forwardly placed from the start, was reserved in close attendance on the pnee-niakers, came fast in the stretch, caught the leading division tiring and drawing into a long lead, won eased up. Fair Play was also reserved in the early running and came witii a rush through the stretch. Bar None closed up steadily through the last half and was a fast going third. Restigouche showed superior speed and ran like a coming crackcrjack, but tired as if not thoroughly ready. Meclick and Half Sovereign raced each other into exhaustion and the former was shut off several times. Chapultepec was O.atfooted and almost left. Halt Sovereign was speedy, but tired. The latter was at a disadvantage in the going and tired badly after nearly pulling Knapp out of the saddle for six furlongs. Sam Bernard was always prominent in the running and a game second. True Roy made up ground steadily smd, finishing fast, almost got up for second place. De Mund spreadcagled the others for live furlongs with a great flight of speed, then tired suddenly and badly, but had the race won. Fleming came through the stretch with a sensational rush and liulslied gaining rapidly on the flagging winner. Okenite was prominent all the way, but was tiring at the end. Aletheuo ran well to the stretch, then quit badly. Main Chance was always badly outrun. Prejuicio quit after running a good half.
