THE ONTARIO JOCKEY CLUB PROGRAM. The program of the fall meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club is in preparation and will be ready for distribution before long.- It will Interest owners to know that it provides for the distribution of 0,-000, quite a liberal sum for seven days of racing. In addition are handsome pieces of plate in the Durham Cup and Ontario Jockey Club Cup. Twenty-one of the races on the program are at one mile or over with the Ontario Jockey Club Cup at two miles and a quarter, tlie principal long distance feature. The program Includes live steeplechases at from two miles to two miles and a half. The. stakes which closed last Saturday, filled extremely well and the officials of tlie club arc confident In tlie belief that the coming meeting will prove the most successful ever held at Woodbine Park. No purse or less than 00 is in the program and many are of greater value. The Durham Cup and Dominion Handicap are a sufficient provision of purses and devoted to horses bred in Canada exclusively. The meeting will begin September 14 and terminate September 21. v
