MONTGOMERY FOR CALIFORNIA. It Is said that Montgomery will be well engaged In the Oakland Stakes and campaigned there through the coming meeting of 1007-08. Montgomery Is but few pounds behind the best three-year-olds of the year, and should prove a great attraction. So far as present indications go more good eastern horses will be sent to Oakland than lias ever been the case previously.
