Grace Cameron, well up from the start, got into nearest, but nna-.ailing, pursuit of the winner in the last half. Longdana, far back in the early running, finished gamely. AVilldo, badly outrun for the first mile, also finished well. Kestrel, prominent for a mile, failed to stay. Aestabella showed the most early speed, but quit badly. Halket broke slowly, but closed up rapidly in tlie last quarter and just failed to act up at the end. Sir Cleges was an unexpectedly forward contender throughout and shows steady improvement. Bellwether got away poorly, but steadily Improved his position and put up a game liuish. Johnnie Blake, prominent for live furlongs, tired as if short. Rialto came fast Avhen too late. Dreamer, always well up. av.-is suicidally sent along fast on the outside on the turn and finished very fast and gamely, but just failed to get up. Jack Atkin also made the mistake of moving tip on the outside of the leader on the last turn, but kept close to the rail and had no mishaps, succumbing finally under a strong finish. Oraculuni broke slowly and Improved his position throughout. 15at Masterson got away poorly and closed a considerable gap. Suffrage, crowded o the rear in the early running, ran around on the turns and loomed up midway of the stretch, but quit badly. Zipaugo. reserved in forward inside pursuit to the stretch, also saved ground and finished out the last quarter gamely under a vigorous finish. St. Aalentine, awny badly, got into the lead quickly and set the pace to the stretcli turn, where he rati hopelessly wide and lost out finally, but Avas best. Lord Stanhope finished Avell and is about due. J.. F. Donohue had a . rough journey, but steadily improved his position into a close up fifth, lobador showed superioispeod for six furlongs, but boiled on the last turn. Lord LovatvAvas a close contender when he ran ont on the stretch turn. Phil Finch ran unkindly, but was repented I v pulled up. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. ....
