Agnes Virginia, clear of interference, well ridden and saving much ground all the way, finished gamely through the stretch and held French Nun safe in the closing drive. French Nun was a forward contender from the start, but going wide in the stretch cost her the race. My Queen of the "Roses -was in a tangle most of -the way. but came fast in Hie last furlong. Minnehaha broke fast and showed the most speed for a half, but tired in the last sixteenth. Hyperbole ran a good race and was gaining steadily in the stretch run. Duchess Ollie was right there most of the way. Field Lark tired after running into a prominent position from a poor send-off. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Mystilier, under a hustling ride, was a forward contender from "the start and, standing the final drive gamely, shook off Marion Moore in the last sixteenth. Marion Moore fan a fiooil race and was right there most of the way. Inauguration, away in a tangle, was never prominent and can do much better. Ada O. AValker Is rounding into good form again and will probably show bettetr form in her future! starts. The winner was entered for 00; no bid." AVon easily; second and tliird driving. Heine, lucky all the way, set a stiff pace from the start, took a long lead on the stretch turn aud came away with plenty in reserve. Judge Treen ran well, but would have been much closer up with a better ride. Granada was almost pulled to a standstill on the first turn and was carried wide at the three-quarters when AVoodson bolted, then closed a big gap in the running to the stretch, where he tired and lost second ulace. Hazel Patch quit badly after going three-quarters. AVoodson bolted after going a quarter and was pulled up. The others were outclassed here. Overweights Woodson, 5 pounds; Aerandah, C. AVon driving; second the same; third easily, Deiitschland. away fast and running the best race of his career here, showed a high flight of early speed, raced Beatrice K. into subjection in the first half aud, standing the final drive gamely, held Lady Esther safe at the end. Lady Esther came from a long way back in the last half and was gaining slowly at the end. Ovelando, from a prominent position lu the early stages, was taken back on the lower turn, then saved ground when turning into the stretch and finished fast. Bottles had no mishaps and ran poorly. Rustle ran well, had no mishaps aud was a lucky second. Rebel Queeu was kept iu close quarters by Koerner. ou Rustle, through the stretch run and would have been second and possibly the winner with clear sailing. Hollow tired after going three furlongs. Fay, showing much speed, set the pace fast to the stretch, but tired slightly at the end. Zeliua ran forwardly throughout and put up a good performance. Refined came from, a long way back, although going wide throughout. Sorrel Top ran fairly well. Miss. Paddeu was iu a jam all the way. Moselle, away in a tangle, had scant chance. Posing was knocked, out of any chance at the half-mile ground. Zlufandel aud Belltoouc lacked speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Warner Grlsweli set a fast pace from the start and raced Charlie Thompson into subjection, but tired when challenged by the winner. Charlie Thompson ran well and bad no mishaps. Charlatan came from a long way back in the last quarter. Quagga was prominent in the early running. Miss Alert, sore when going to the post, trailed far back in the early stages and closed a big gap in the last half. The winner was entered for S700; no bid.
