NOTES OF THE TURF. Jean Bcreaud will be at the head of the stud at Idle Hour Stock Farm next season. Assistant starter Joe Weber is at Oakland ready for duty, going there direct from Windsor. Thomas Griffin has shipped twenty-four horses from New York for Oakland, where thoy will be raced by him during the meeting. President T. II. Williams of the New California Jockey Club, says Judge Horace Egbert, if his health permits, will occupy his old post at Oak laud this winter.
