PREPARING FOR CHANGE OF SYSTEM. Cincinnati, O., Xovember 4. Circulars have been received here by liookmakers and horsemen, who will spend the winter at Xew Orleans, explaining the sysein of betting which will be followed at both tracks this winter. The circulars are sent out by Arthur Klrod, who will be in charge of the betting rings. It is what Mr. Klrod calls the Xew York system, with the addition of a ticket. The high stool and hand slates, bags and trays used by bookmakers on the metropolitan tracks will lie the oufllt necessary. All of these will be furnished by Ehod. Bookmakers who intend to book at the tracks are requested In the circular to send their names to Mr. Klrod at New Orleans ten days before the meeting opens. Treasurer Hachmeister of the Latonia Jockey Club left this morning for Xew Orleans. Secretary Dillon left today for Wilmington, Del., in response to a telegram announcing the illness of a relative there.
