Tinker Bell ran a good race and finished fast. Catherine M. closed a big gap. Gold Quartz quit badly in the stretch after running well for three-quarters. Lida Woodlands ran a good race, was outrun in the early stages, but moved up in the last turn of the field and finished fast. Spencer IteifC tired after taking the last jump and was probably a bit short. Jig Music lost ids rider at the tenth jump and Jonah fell at the twelfth. The winner was entered for 500; no bid. The latter, outrun in the early stages, closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Paul Clifford was speedy, but tired. Wabash Queen closed a big gap, bur tired right at the end. Jupiter, knocked hack at the start, made up ground. The winner was entered for 800; no bid. High Jumper was probably best, but was wedged in between West Over and Wilton Lackaye at the finish and unable to get tluough. Chorus Girl finished well. Cartwheel ran well for three-quarters.
