GATHERING FAST AT NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans, La., November 7. Morc than 200 horses are now here and the tracks in consequence have much the same appearance as though racing was in progress. The most prominent stables which have arrived are those of W. O. Joplin, with twelve horses, J. U. Strode with eight, A. B. Magiuuis with eight, Hughes Brothers with sixteen, Walter Gum with three, Thomas Kiley with six, and h. T. Lee and Son with eleven. P. M. Clvlll and M. Gold blatt are also here with their horses." Secretary Maglnn is receiving stake entries every day and the indications are that Barney Schrelbor, C. tt. Ellison, Burlew and ONeill and J. J. McCafferty will have the leading stables here this winter, and the chances are that the stake winners will mostly come from them.
