Kerry, after striking distance pursuit of Alice F. from the start, finished a fast going s-eeond. Alice F., unruly at the post, from. a Hying start made the running to the last few" strides and finished gamely. Import ran forwardly in close quarters and, beiug pocketed at the end, just failed tq got up for tbird place in a game effort. Wahoo, after nearest attendance on the pacemaker for five fur-lougs, tired, Anally. Herlves again failed to stay. Heather Scott, sore and unlit, likes soft going best. Brattaln, from a llyiug start, set the pace for a half mile, then tired. Lustlg, shullled to the rear at the start, closed a big gap. Ambitious linlshed close up and going well. Lovey Mary, nearly left, made up much ground and is extra good. Titus II. again quit badly. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 00 and bought in. Nabonassar ran on tile extreme outside throughout and tired in the closing drive. Fury showed superior early speed In close attendance on the winner for seven furlongs and tired as if short. M;iy L. N.. from a llatfooted start, trailed for the first half and, gaining rapidly at the end, is becoming good. Ovelando. away poorly, held his own. but was outclassed at the distance.
