Won easily; second and third driving, l ire-brand was easily best, ran close up from the start and, when called on in the stretch, came away with a vush. Sanguine began slowly, but closed a gap steadily and ran a good race. Billie Hibbs showed the most early speed, but was tiring badly in the last furlong as if short. Right and True ran fairly well and had no mishaps. Little AVoods made up ground and finished fast. AVhile on the way to the post Reardall ran away two miles and the others were sent away without him. Malaga ran close up from the start and, coming fast through the stretch, got up to win in the last two strides. Norbitt ran into what appeared a winning lead and set the pace to the last sixteenth, then tired and lost out through a weakly ridden finish. Silver Ball closed a big gap and. finishing with a surprising rush, outstayed Octoic for third place. The latter ran well, but tired in the final drive. New Garter closed a big gap and tired. Glaucus was reserved in the early running and, while moving up fast after turning into the stretch, bumped Hlacko, then came on and won in a game finish, but was disqualified for fouling. Hiacko showed the most early speed and held on resolutely in the final drive. Braggadocio closed a big gap, but was tiring at the finish. Miss Catesby was unlucky and in close quarters to the stretch, then came on with a rush. Beggarman. made up much ground. AVonder AVorker and Tea Leaf showed early speed, but failed lo stay. Goshen Chief was crowded back on the first turn and had little chance. Scratched 71979 Orfano, 107; 71903 De Burgo, 115.
