R. C. RANN GOES TO NEW ORLEANS. Lexington, Ky., December 9. R. L. Baker has changed his plans regarding the future of his recent acquisition, R. C. Rann, for which he paid ,500 the last day of the Lexington sale here last jnonth. At that time Mr. Baker announced .that R. C. Rann would remain in Kentucky during the winter and be prepared for tlie Kentucky Derby next spring by his brother. The latest plan is to send him to Xew Orleans, together with .Mae Hanlllton, in the shipment J. C. Milam will send south for winter racing shortly after the holidays. Mr. Baker believes that a few races run at rXew Orleans will rather help than retard the preparation of the colt for the big stake race next spring.
