Phil Igoe, off Hying, ray close up from the start, swung wide when turning for home, but came fast lis the final sixteenth and got up in a game finish. Pepper and Salt closed a big gap and finished with a rush next to the Inside rail. Illusion showed the nust early speed, but tired palpably when the pinch came. Nellie Racine finished fast. Winsome Ways ran well to the stretch, but failed to stay. Little Minister closed a gap and tired. Dr. Crook showed speed and should be improved by the race. Thi winner was entered for 00; no bid. Hal worked his i wav through close quarters in the last eighth and linished with a rush. Tom Shaw showed speed, but tiled badly as if short, L. C. Kinsman began slowly, but moved up gradually on the far turn, worked through close quarters in the final eighth and, finishing gamely, won drawing clear. First Peep, as usual, began slowly, but finished fast and resolutely. Ed Sheridan ran well all the way and finished gamely under punishment. Bellinence showed speed and finished close up. Baker ran well to the stretch and tired in the final sixteenth. Paul Clifford can do better. Sharp Boy set a fast early pace, but failed to stay the route. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Avontellus closed an early gap and, in a long stretch drive, was gradually wearing the winner down in the closing strides. Cork Hill ran well and finished gamely under the whip. Taby Tosa tired badly in the last eighth. Court Martial and Belasco ran well to the stretch, but both tired and quit as if short. The winner was entered for- 00; no bid. Scratched 721383J. F. Friar of Elgin ran into the lead at once and, setting the pace fast, finally won eased up. Ronton was always prominent and ran a fast and game race. Nick Stoner closed up ground steadily and made a menacing challenge in the stretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. Gene Wood was shuffled back in the middle; running and came fast in the stretch. Belarius finished well. Ben Stone got off badly and closed an immense gap. Vivian May showed much speed, but tired. Scratched 70703 Aromatize, 105. . I I ! 1
