NOTES OF THE TURF. Paul J. Ralney has purchased three bloodhounds from Sheriff Tate of Union County, Miss., and will enter theui at bench shows. Trainer Bernard, who has charge of ihe Sam Emery horses in New York is giving Master Robert. Arasee and tlie others regular work under the saddle. He says Master Robert has grown and filled out wonderful! since he was retired last Tall. David A. Campliell of Calgary. Allierta, wlio_ is one of tlie most extensive breeders of thoroughbreds in western Canada has added several horses to his stud. They are Gay Boy, a nine-year-old bay horse, by St. Saviour — Orlle; Barm, a three-year old filly, by Bra n tome Clarissa, and Red Plume, an eight year-old chestnut mare, by Ouonadaga — Marie Shreve, by Buckra.
