Nealon has enjoyed his first winter of rest so well that he is as fat as a seal and trainer Frank M. Taylor is wondering how much training it will take to hardeu his llesh preparatory for racing. Superintendent Stratum of the Renning tr?ck at Washington, has notified trainers at the New York tracks who are preparing to race there, to make their reservations early as the si all room at his disposal is limited. Mamie Worth, one of the most noted daughters of the dead stallion, St. George, is now believed to he safely in foal to Plaudit at Hamburg Place. Ocean Tide, another daughter, is in foal to the futurity winuer, Yankee. Howard Lewis, Jr. says that Coligny. the full brother to El Cuchillo. will not l e sent to the post until mid summer and perhaps not until early fall.
