I I , , . . f BREEDING BUREAU PLAN IS POPULAR. New York. February 28.— The Jockey Club Breed ing Bureau has received since the first of the year requests from seven different states for stallions. Pennsylvania has asked for seven, Louisiana five. West Virginia four. Nebraska four. Wyoming three. South Dakota two and Kentucky one. The breeding bureau will use every means possible to furnish these staes with tlie stallions they require. Tlie breeding bureau plan inaugurated by the Jockey Club has. In the success it has already achieved. become widely known, and many states have arranged to adopt the same means for the improvement of their horses.
