LINES OF ACTION IN LOUISIANA Baton Rouge La May 27 G II Terriberry a local attorney who is representing the New Orleans jockey clul s in their defense against attempts which are IteIng made in the legislature to abolish iMttlng on horse racing in the state has issued a statement in which he outlines tlie position of the City Park and Crescent City Jockey Clubs ClubsAccording According to his statement the clubs favor the creation of a state racing commission of three mem ¬ bers who will have supervision of the sport The clubs will work for the abolition of Sunday ami night racing favor a regulation prohibiting the owner of a horse which is racing at any meeting from being a stockholder in the club holding tlie meeting tlie exclusion of minors not accompanied by parents or guardians from the tracks and a restriction which will prohibit halfmile tracks wlfhin a radius of twentyfive miles of a city of 50000 or move inhabitants The clubs are favorable to any legislation which will make the sport cleaner and are working toward that end
