Sempronium, hard ridden early and running sluggishly, moved up fast on 1 the stretch turn, but swerved badly in the last sixteenth. Elizabeth Harwood showed the most early tpeed. but tired after going a half. Dr. Holzberg was speedy, but quit in the last furlong. Mabel Henri-was prominent for a half. The others were always outpaced. The winner was entered for 400: no bid. Pi-round and was poorly ridden. Dr. SImrall was never prominent. Washakie got away badly and fell out lot contention on the first turn. The winner was entered for !j300: no bid. Dr. Barkley had a rough trip and ran fairly welL Red tired after going a half. Lady Ruby set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. Joe Eurieh tired after going a quarter.
