Zarape. away fast and showing the most speed, went into a clear lead soon after the start and was never seriously threatened after going a quarter. Mrs. Marion Moore ran a good race and was in nearest pursuit throughout. Kilvany came gamely in the stretch and finished with a rush. Malecon went wide most of the way and closed a big sap. Mabel Henry followed Alice George closely for the first half and out-gained the latter through the last sixteenth. Alice George showed the most speed for a half and tired, but finished gamely. Miss Crittenden, taken wide throughout, made up ground in the stretch. Ethelda showed speed for a half and tired. Elizabeth Harwood ran poorly. Overweight!? Elizabeth Harwood. 1 pound. Boserrian quickly ran into prominence and forced a fast pace to the stretch, then took the lead and stayed gamely in the closing drive. Marlius, forced wide throughout, ran a good race and closed a big gap into a fast going second. Van Dan had to overcome interference in the early stages and also finished fast. King Fo ly ran a good race and was prominent throughout. Palamon came with a rush through the stretch. Earls Court showed the most speed for a half and tired. Stoner Hill had a rough trip. Lady Ethel went into the load at once and raced Brancas into defeat, then stayed well in the final drive. The Shaughraun closed a big gap in the last half and was going resolutely at the end. Brancas ran well to the stretch and tired badly in the last furlong. Washakie was in close quarters early and made up ground when clear. Huerfano began slowly and moved up fast after going a half.
