CORRIGAN HORSES TO BE AUCTIONED. Lexington, Ky.. November 18. All of Edward Corrigans thoroughbreds will be sold by public auction here on Wednesday. November 25. Mr. Cor-rigan, before leaving for Chicago, made a proposition ito Thomas F. Kelly, the local representative of the Fasig-Tipton Company, to conduct the sale on that date. The proposition was accepted by President Ed Tipton in a telegram from New York. The Fasig-Tipton Company will, hold its annual Kentucky sale of thoroughbreds here next Monday and Tuesday, and the Corrigan disposal -sale will follow immediately. Tbo list of stallions includes McGee. tile- imported bay horse foaled in 1000 and bred by Lord Bradford, of England. McGee was brought to this country by Mr. Corrigan in 1502 and proved an excellent racer. He started in lifty-oue race, won twenty-four of them and was only unplaced In eight during two years of racing. Marta Santa. Ormicant and Sein-tillant II. are also imported stallions. Besides the stallions, some forty ninres. twenty-live horses in training and thirty-four weanlings will be sold. Tiie mares are all young, representing the pick of bis stud, as the old matrons were sold off privately some time ago. Most of the mares are in foal to McGee. Marta Santa and Ormicant. The weanlings are fourteen by McGee, eight by Ormicant, six by Scintillant II., four by Cactus and two by Marta Santa. This sale will mark the passing of the "Master of Hawthorne" as an owner.
