OLD CHINAS MANCHESTER HANDICAP. London. Eng., November 2S. The Manchester November Handicap, which closed the English flat racing season, was won by Old China, with Simonson second and Cargill third. Twenty started and Old China was an outsider in the betting at 20 to 1. Simonson was 100 to 0 and Cargill 11 to 2. The favorite, Norman III.. August Belmonts starter, had some following, but the fact that he carried top weight, coupled with his recent poor performances, did not impress the shrewd ones and his. market was a sentimental one.
