Argonaut ran in forward and persistent pursuit from the start and got the verdict in a great stretch rush. Toll Box drew out rapidly into a long lead and was eased up when he seemed a sure winner midway of the stretch, then failed to get to going again in time. Erbet, from an inside imor start, quickly got into forward pursuit and was a fast going, hut belated, third. Rosamo set the pace early, but was forced into deep going on the turns and tired linally. The Vicar closed a big gap and is improving. Bill Eaton, away verv badly, made up much ground, Rosevale was crowded out into the deepest going all the way and can do better. Miss Bootless was knocked back on the far turn. Altanior finished well. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 7S5G7TroIs Temp. 100; 7S5G2 Figent, 105. Ilanbridge, from a flying start, set the early pace and held on persistently in the worst going to the last sixteenth, then tired. Royal Tourist, nearly left, was hopelessly outpaced from the start. Creation, from a slow start, was badly messed about, pulling up frequently and never dangerous. Uloudlight ran in early and prominent contention for a half mile and tired.
