PULKA BENEFITED BY REST. New York, July 12.— James Hewitt has returned from Canada with his Igden three-year-old. Pulka. Pulka was the only horse of class Mr. Hewitt had on the Canadian circuit and as he was not in condition to race to his best form his owner did not gal her much. Pulka was injured in a race at Pim-lico early in tlie spring and Mr. Hewitt did not care to hurry him. But the colts recent lest has benefited him and he will, Mr. Hewitt believes, show ills good form in races hereabouts.
