IMPROVEMENTS AT MARLBORO PARK. Washington. I . .. August :tl. — It is How an assured thing that the management of the Marlboro Park race track will race under the rules of the Jockey Club. Many improvements have been made to the plant at Marlboro, Mil. The management has built a steeplechase course, as well as a chute at the head of the stretch, virtually making a thrce-iiuar-ter track out of a half mile one. The stands hare been rebuilt so as to accommodate the large attendance that is looked for during the mooting. There will be seven jumps in the short course through the field, with nine for the long course.
