THOMAS F RYANS IMPORTATION New York December 20 Dr Walter Russell of Dublin manager of Richard Crokers stud farm at Glencairn arrived here by tbe Atlantic transport liner Minnetonka in charge of thirteen highclass broodmares and one thoroughbred stallion Sea King for Thomas F Ryans stud farm at Oak Ridge Va Dr Russell who purchased all the horses under his charge traveled through the whole of Ireland for some months before completing the commission in rusted him by Mr Ryan as none but wellbred natrons of size and quality with prize records vould be purchased Besides which Mr Ryan was inxious 10 obtain as many as possible gray in color r Russell thinks that there Is no doubt that the nfnsion of the best Irish steeplechase blood is sure o improve the breed of the genuine hunter here as several of the mares are bred on perfect lines
