ANOTHER STAKE RACE FOR DURYEA The attendance at Malsons Lallitte on Sunday July 27 was one of the largest on record the attraction l leing eing the Prix Eugene Adam an important race that used to be known as the Prix Monarque It has now become one of the most important races for threevearolds the value to the winner H B Durveiis Blarney lieing 17300 while a sum of 2 K0 went to the second horse Baldaquin and XloOO to the third Isard II Blarney which had disappointed several times this year after running second to Ecouen in the Prix Dam now seems to have recovered his form and there is every likcli hood of his being sent to run in England before the end of the year He won in grand style and at a mile and a quarter will hold his own against any Mjlt of his own age He Is by Irish Lad a son of Candlemas ° t ot Armenia a mare by Meddler by St Gat KU out of Busybody
