In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be earned. ln races exclusively for three-year-olds, or four-year-olds, the weight shall be 120 pounds, and for two-year-olds. 122 pounds. Except in haniiieaps and in races where the ccrn ditions expressly state to the contrary, hlljes two vears old shall be allowed three pounds and marcs three years old and upward shall be allowed live pounds before Septcmlwr 1 and three pounds thereafter. Geldings shall be allowed three pounds. Welter weights shall be 28 pounds added to the weight for age. In heavy handicaps the top weight shall not be less than 140 pounds In all handicaps when the added money exceeds 1913.sh00, the top weight shall not be less than 12G pounds. STATE RACING COMMISSION OF KENTUCKY. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be carried. In races exclusively for two-year-olds, US pounds shall bo carried. , , , In races exclusively for three-year-olds. 122 pounds shall bo carried. , In heat races there shall be an allowance of five pounds rrom the scale of weights. Except in handicaps, iillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall be allowed three pounds. Fillies and marcs three years old and upward shall be allowed live pounds before September 1 and three pounds thereafter. JOCKEY CLUB JUAREZ. The Jockev Club Juarez has adopted the scale of weights of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, referred to in tho preceding paragraph. PACIFIC JOCKEY CLUB. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be carried. In a race exclusively for two-year-olds the weights shall bo 118 pounds. In a race exclusively for three-year-olds the weights shall he 122 pounds. In heat races there shall be an allowance of five pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps and in races where tho weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, fillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall be allowed three pounds, and fillies and mares thr?e years old and upward shall he allowed Ave pounds before September 1 and three pounds thereafter. SOUTHERN JOCKEY CLUB. In races of Intermediate lengths, tho weights for the shorter distance are" to lie carried. In a race exclusively for two-year-olds the weights shall be US iwunds. In a race exclusively for three-year-olds iho weights shall be 122 pounds. In heat races there shall be an allowance of live pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps and in rp.ccs where the weights aro fixed absolutely in the conditions, fillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall be allowed three pounds, and fillies and mares three years old and upward shall he allowed live iwiuuds before September 1 and three pounds thereafter. CANADIAN RACING ASSOCIATIONS. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for tho shorter distance shall be carried. In races exclusively for three-year-olds, or four-year-olds the weights shall be 122 iwunds. and for two-year-olds 118 pounds. Except in handicaps and In all races where the conditions expressly state to the contrary, fillies two years old shall be allowed three pounds, and Iillies and mares three years old and upward shal be allowed live iwunds lKfore the first of September and three pounds thereafter. At tho eastern tracks all steeplechase races are run under tho rules of the National SleeplechaSH and Hunt Association, which provides these weights: For steeplechases less than three miles From January 1 to August 31. inclusive, three years, 135 pounds: four years. 119 pounds; five years, 157 pounds; six years and over, 1G2 pounds. From September 1 to December ,U, inclusive, for three years. 137 pounds; four years, 151 pounds; five years, 1G0 pounds: six years and over, 1G2 lKiunds. For steeplechases of three miles and over From January 1 to August 31, inclusive, four years. Mil pounds; five years, 155 pounds: six years and over. 1G0 pounds. From September 1 to December 31, inclusive, for four years, 1-19 pounds; five years, 15S pounds: six years and over, 1G0 pounds. For Hurdle Races From January 1 to August .!!. inclusive, three years. 135 pounds; four years. 142 pounds: five years, 152 pounds: six years and over. 15G pounds. From September 1 to December 31, inclusive, three years, 142 pounds; four years, 155 pounds; live years and over, 1G1 pounds. In races exclusively for three-year-olds, the weight shall be 145 pounds. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, mares shall be allowed five pounds lwfore September 1. and three pounds afterward. Geldiugs shall be allowed three pounds. For races on the Hat under Hunt Club auspices, the scale of weights adopted by tho Jockey Club shall govern and in respect of such races welter weights shall be 2S pounds above the weight for age. When a scale of weights for age is not fixed by the regulations of any course or by the conditions of a meeting or race the following scale shall govern: For steeplechases and hurdle races less than three miles from January 1 to July 31, inclusive, four years, 145 pounds; live years, 159 pounds; six years and over. ICG pounds. From August 1 to December 31. inclusive, three years, 138 pounds: four years. 155 Kunds; five years, 1G3 pounds; six years and over, 1GG pounds. For steeplechases of three miles and over. January 1 to August 31. inclusive, four years. 138 pounds; five years. 157 pounds; six years and over. 160 pounds. From September 1 to Direnilier 31. inclusive, four years, 149 pounds; live years, 1G1 pounds; six years and over. 100 pounds. Except in handicaps and in all races where the conditions1 expressly state to the .contrary, marcs shall be allowed five pounds lxfore the first of September, and three pounds thereafter. Geldings allowed three pounds.
